Anthony is a cyber security lawyer and partner at Atmos, New Zealand’s leading incident response firm. He specialises in crisis management, regulatory engagement, and data protection. He has advised on major breaches across APAC, helping organisations navigate complex cyber risks. With experience across New Zealand, Australia, and Europe, he specialises in data security, privacy, and emerging tech including AI.

Austin Phillips is a leading figure in the electric vehicle transition and implementation space throughout Australia and New Zealand. Since 2018 he is one of the few people in the heavy vehicle industry to have developed, bought, sold, operated and analysed electric vehicles, giving him unique insights on success factors and challenges of the transition. 

Austin’s career has primarily been the bridge between the customer operational needs and technical capabilities of nascent technologies. He has led the development of the world’s first EV municipal tipper truck (2019), aviation refuellers (2022-2024) and hydrant dispensers (2023-2024). In 2023 he formed ERIX Technology Services working with fleets regarding transition planning, strategy and technology guidance. ERIX also works with EV fleets in risk critical environments including aviation, critical infrastructure, shipping and insurance alongside partners such as EV FireSafe and Zurich Resilience Solutions.

Brad Olsen is the Principal Economist and Director at Infometrics, widely recognized for his sharp economic insights across New Zealand’s media and public discourse. He began his career at Infometrics in 2015 as a part-time analyst while studying at Victoria University, quickly rising to become one of the country’s youngest and most influential economic voices. His work spans forecasting, regional analysis, and bespoke consulting projects, including public policy costings in education and healthcare. In 2019, he co-authored the Regional Wellbeing report and developed a framework to help communities improve local outcomes.

Originally from Whangarei, Brad holds degrees in Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, and Political Science. He’s passionate about the intersection of economics, wellbeing, and regional development. Beyond his professional role, Brad actively contributes to civic life as New Zealand’s youngest Justice of the Peace and engages with several leadership and youth organizations. His dedication to service earned him the Queen’s Young Leader award in 2016, with the rare honor of meeting the Queen three times.

Bronwyn’s 25-plus years’ experience across multi-risk disciplines, including as an insurance broker for over 20 years, brings a unique perspective and helps to ensure an organisation’s risk framework aligns with individual risk strategies contained and managed within the organisation (for example, risk transfer (insurance), compliance and statutory obligations).  

Bronwyn has worked throughout Australia and in London and has extensive experience with multi-national and global clients.  

Bronwyn’s experiences traverse many industry sectors and occupations; mining, aged care, financial institutions, universities, government defence programmes, not-for-profit organisations, government bodies, property owners, retail, and manufacturing to name a few. 

Brooke Roberts is a dynamic entrepreneur, co-founder, and co-CEO of Sharesies, a pioneering wealth app in New Zealand.

As the driving force behind Sharesies, Brooke has played an instrumental role in revolutionising the investment landscape by making it accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial standing. With a vision to democratise investing, Sharesies now boasts over half a million investors who have collectively invested billions of dollars.

Under Brooke's leadership, Sharesies has not only provided tools for investing, saving, and KiwiSaver but also forged significant partnerships with NZX and ASX-listed companies. Brooke’s influence reaches into various spheres. She serves as a Founder Representative on the Icehouse Ventures Board, a Trustee at the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation, and a member of the Victoria University of Wellington Business panel. Her contributions to the business world have been widely recognised, including the co-winning of the 2020 Women of Influence - Business award alongside co-founder Sonya Williams, and being honored as the 2022 NZ Hi-Tech Inspiring Individual and NZ Services Entrepreneur of the Year with her co-founders Sonya and Leighton.

As a mother of two, Brooke balances her professional achievements with a strong commitment to family, embodying the spirit of modern leadership and innovation. Her story is one of visionary entrepreneurship, community impact, and relentless pursuit of equality in the financial world.

Christine Martin is Head of Operations and Broker Engagement at Steadfast New Zealand, bringing over 30 years of experience in the insurance sector. She began her career with an insurer, building a strong foundation in insurance operations and market dynamics before transitioning into broking.

Christine has held senior roles with major brokerages, including Aon as a Regional Manager—where she oversaw 14 offices during a period of regional network growth—and PSC Insurance Group, serving as National Broker Services Manager and Central Region Manager from 2018 to 2022. In these roles, she led initiatives focused on network expansion, operational alignment, and knowledge sharing. 

Since joining Steadfast New Zealand in 2022, Christine has focused on broker engagement, operational delivery, and network development, supporting the organisation’s continued growth across New Zealand.

David joined Steadfast in May 2025. He has over 20 years of experience in transformation and operational roles within financial services organisations across Australia, India, and Europe. Prior to joining Steadfast, David held the position of Chief Information Officer at Allianz Australia, Alinta Energy and TAL Australia and senior leadership roles at Fidelity International, Bupa and EDS. David is an accredited member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Engineering in Microelectronics.

Neil joined Steadfast in 2017 to take on the position of Broker Services Manager and became CEO in 2022. 

Neil started his career in London in 1991 and has been involved in the insurance industry both as a broker and underwriter. During his career, Neil has had the opportunity to create schemes and facilities, take recognised companies into different areas of business and establish a brokerage under the highly compliant UK financial services legislation. 

Nick joined Steadfast 10 years ago, and in his role as the Executive General Manager for Australasian Networks, Broker & Insurer Services at Steadfast, he oversees the strategic direction, operational excellence, and growth initiatives for the Steadfast broker networks across the Asia-Pacific region.  

With a career spanning over three decades in the insurance and financial services industry, Nick brings a wealth of experience in managing complex networks, enhancing carrier relationships, and delivering exceptional service to brokers. 

Nick is also President of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA), representing brokers interests at the highest level of industry and government. 

Nick was previously at Zurich where he was responsible for the performance of Zurich products and propositions in the marketplace. 

Noelene joined Steadfast in July 2024. She has over 20 years’ experience working in operations leadership roles in the financial services industry, including banking, general insurance, life insurance and reinsurance. Recently she has worked in senior leadership roles including as COO Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention at Westpac, COO Swiss Re Australia and Chief of Staff for KPMG Lead Accounts in Hong Kong. Noelene has significant global experience, working across Asia, Europe and US markets and holds degrees in Communications and Law, and has an MBA from AGSM.

Tim Mathieson joined Steadfast Group in 2015 and has over 25 year’s industry experience, most recently as CEO of QIB Group, one of the largest insurance broking groups in Australasia.  

He was previously Head of Broker Network at Steadfast and prior to this held several leadership roles with QBE Insurance which he joined as a graduate in 1998.  

He holds an MBA, Master of Insurance and Risk Management, and Bachelor of Commerce. He is an ANZIIF Fellow, AICD Graduate and director of more than 10 companies, including the Steadfast Foundation.  

Tim has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer – Australasia Broking effective 1 July 2025.
