The New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) is New Zealand’s only purpose-built international convention centre, located in the centre of Auckland. Opened in February 2026, the venue offers 32,500 square metres of flexible event space, including a 2,852-seat theatre and a range of modern facilities designed to host conferences, exhibitions, meetings, and events of all sizes. Inspired by the natural world and the story of Tāne, the centre reflects New Zealand’s culture, creativity, and connection to place. NZICC is owned and operated by SkyCity Entertainment Group in partnership with the New Zealand Government.
Situated in Auckland’s CBD, NZICC is within walking distance of hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, and many of the city’s main attractions. With more than 8,000 hotel rooms nearby, delegates can stay close to the venue while enjoying easy access to everything Auckland has to offer. The centre’s central location, combined with its modern facilities and event-focused design, makes it a convenient and accessible destination for international conferences and business events.
NZICC is easy to reach by air, public transport, taxi, or rideshare. Auckland Airport is around 25 kilometres from the venue, with regular airport transfer services connecting travellers to the city centre.
For those arriving by car, parking is available beneath the venue via Nelson Street. Accessible parking spaces and EV charging stations are also provided.
