General

Yes, CPD points will be available for this Conference. CPD certificates for Conference delegates will be available after the Conference has been held.
Yes, you do, based on your ticket type, it will provide you access to sessions, Marketplace and social events.
For meals in the Marketplace, these will be in a specially marked, designated area. For the Welcome Function and Conference dinner, please identify yourself to the wait staff who will be aware and able to assist with your requirements.
The Marketplace will be open from 8:30 am – 4:45 pm on Monday. There will be no Marketplace on Sunday or Tuesday.
Yes, the Marketplace will only be open for one day only, on Monday between 8:30 am to 4:45 pm.
Steadfast Broker Network. Please ensure you check the ticket type inclusions to ensure your ticket provides access to the Broker Only day session. Steadfast network brokers should also seek permission from their Brokerage Principal before registering.
Registrations open at 8:30 am on Monday, 14 September. Please collect your lanyard from Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, Level 2, Tāwhirimātea Foyer.
The Conference dress code and social functions will be smart casual.

All brokers who are part of the Steadfast Broker network can attend the 2025 Steadfast NZ Conference. To register, please follow this link.

We will not be issuing invoices for Conference registrations. If you are having issues paying for multiple delegates on a company credit card, we suggest you register your delegates across multiple payments.

For example, if you want to register seven delegates and are unable to pay the total amount on credit card due to a credit limit, register four delegates in your first registration group, and three in your second group. We are able to link these bookings in our internal system.

Please note that rooms will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.

Conference fees and associated travel cost are most commonly tax deductible. Eligibility for tax deductions should be verified by your independent tax advisor.
Yes, if you are a ‘Full Delegate’ and you would like to bring your spouse/partner, they are welcome to join you for the social functions. Please register them under the ‘Accompanying Guest’ pass for the appropriate function you would like them to attend.  

Please note that Accompanying Guest tickets are only to be purchased by non-insurance attendees. No CPD points will be given to anyone registered as an Accompanying Guest.

No children or animals (unless they are Service Dogs) will be permitted to attend any of the Steadfast Conference.

Health & Safety

Steadfast takes the safety of our staff and guests seriously. As such, below are some tips on how to stay healthy and be vigilant with your personal hygiene throughout the Conference.
  • Covering coughs and sneezes with disposable tissues or clothing, or coughing/sneezing into your elbow
  • Disposing of used tissues appropriately in a bin
  • Washing hands with soap and water and drying them thoroughly or using hand sanitiser:
    • Before eating or handling food
    • After using the toilet
    • After coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose

 

It’s also important to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water throughout the Conference. Limit your intake of tea, coffee or alcohol if you are feeling dehydrated.

Here are some good practice tips on responsible drinking:

  • eat before or during drinking.
  • have some food in your stomach which slows down the absorption rate of alcohol.
  • know the standard strength of each drink which is equal to 10g of alcohol.
  • keep track of how many drinks you've had in a specific time period.
  • know your limits.

Importantly, if you start to feel unwell, call your doctor, the nearest hospital emergency department or Healthline on 0800 611 116.

Welcome Function

The Welcome Function is at Dockside Restaurant and Bar, Shed 3/9 Queens Wharf, Wellington Central from 6:30pm to 10:30pm on Sunday, 14 September 2025.

Conference Dinner

Feel free to embrace the 80s fashion - think bold colours, big hair and vintage flair. Dressing up is optional but highly encouraged.
We will launch the app and the Conference Dinner Seating plan on Wednesday, 3 September
You are not able to block out a table. You will need to invite each attendee on the table through the app or each attendee may place themselves at a particular table.
You can allocate people to your table by following the steps below:

  1. Select table allocation on your app.
  2. Select the Conference Dinner.
  3. Invite Guest.
  4. Press the search button symbol and then type in the person’s first name or surname. If they come up as ‘I’m available’, then press next to their name and then send invite.

The guest you selected will receive an invitation via the app and will also receive an email.

The guest will need to accept or decline the invitation through the app. You will receive a notification via email if they accept or decline your request.

You can view who is sitting at your table by following the steps below:

  1. Select table allocation on your app.
  2. Select Conference Dinner
  3. View table guests.
If the guest accepts your invitation, you will receive an email notification saying, ‘Accepted Conference Dinner’.

To reconfirm, we recommend you check the app by following the steps below:

  1. Select table allocation on your app.
  2. Select Conference Dinner.
  3. View table guests.

If the guest declines, you will receive an email notification advising the guest has declined.

  1. Select table allocation on your app.
  2. Select Conference Dinner.
  3. Select 'Remove my table allocation' and then select 'remove all'.
  4. Then you can proceed to accept another invitation. Repeat these steps if you receive multiple invitations.
To view your table number in the app, follow the steps below:

  1. Select Table Allocation on your app.
  2. Select Conference Dinner.
  3. Click on the link 'No Table – Select a Table'. Choose from the list of available tables. Once you have selected your table, it will then be displayed within the table allocation screen.

Please note, you will not receive an email confirmation after you have selected your table but rest assured the system has recorded your selection.
